I Am Brooke

Brooke has been a very busy girl this month.  We have made numerous shopping trips looking for gifts, new glasses for mommy, and other various and sundry items.  Brooke loves going to the mall.  Earlier this week she was asking to go daily.  She wanted to go shopping for toys, panties, dresses, and jammies.  We did buy new jammies.  For some reason the size 4 jammies we own that are not Carter’s or Gymboree brand simply do not fit Brooke.  The pants only go halfway down her calf, and the shirts rise up over her belly when she raises her arms.  We purchased several new pairs that fit as well as one long sleeved dress, which I have convinced her need leggings because it is also rather short.  I think Brooke just has very long legs.

In other news, Brooke has now been to two parties this month for 3 classmates.  We have started talking about what we will do for her birthday and who we will invite.  Brooke has also had her first two ballet classes of the year.  There are some girls in her class who must just be 3 years old, and they are not doing so well in the class.  I have thought about moving Brooke out of that class, but she likes being in that class with her friend Lola.  I have decided that in the spring I need to convince Lola’s mother that we should enroll them both in a 4 year old only class where they are not held back by the younger kids.  Brooke and Lola are both light years ahead of the other kids as far as coordination and maturity.

In the next week we are also taking a trip to Pennsylvania, and we have also started the countdown to Disney World.  We are all very excited!
